Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: January 15, 2026. Rules that apply to every Scout using MySpaceScout data and Space Workers.
MySpaceScout provides contact and business data intended for legitimate outreach, enrichment, and pipeline operations. Scouts are responsible for how they use it. Violations of this policy may result in credit forfeiture, account suspension, or termination.
Permitted uses
- Prospect for legitimate B2B or B2C outreach in line with applicable laws (CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, TCPA, and similar).
- Enrich records you already own with additional accurate fields.
- Suppress previously contacted or opted-out records before every delivery.
- Route accepted contacts into a destination you control (Retreva, Zapier, Make, or a downstream tool).
- Share summary counts and coverage with teammates inside your own organization.
Prohibited uses
- Sending unsolicited communications that violate anti-spam or telemarketing laws in the recipient's jurisdiction.
- Reselling, redistributing, or publicly posting raw contact records delivered by MySpaceScout.
- Using contact data for discriminatory targeting, adult-content solicitation, or predatory lending.
- Scraping, reverse-engineering, or bypassing rate limits, previews, or suppression controls.
- Uploading someone else's proprietary data as your own suppression file if you don't have rights to it.
- Attempting to identify or target sensitive categories (health, precise financial hardship, minors) using our data.
Compliance and requests
You must honor opt-out and do-not-contact requests from recipients within the timeframe required by law, and keep suppression lists current inside MySpaceScout. If you receive a takedown, privacy, or opt-out request that references data delivered by us, forward it to privacy@myspacescout.com so we can help route it upstream.
Reporting abuse
Report suspected misuse of MySpaceScout data to abuse@myspacescout.com. Security-specific reports (vulnerabilities, account takeover suspicions) should go to security@myspacescout.com.
