Who we are
MySpaceScout is a prospecting workspace operated by MySpaceScout, Inc. This page is maintained by the MySpaceScout team to explain what personal data we collect from Scouts (our users) and how we handle it. It is not a legal certification.
Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly (name, work email, company, billing details when you buy credits), information about how you use the product (searches you save, Space Workers you build, destinations you connect), and standard technical information (IP address, browser, device) to operate and secure the service.
How we use it
We use your information to run your account, deliver contact data you request, bill for used credits, keep the service secure, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, and improve the product. We do not sell Scout account data.
Contact data we deliver
Business, consumer, professional, and property contact data delivered through Space Workers is sourced from licensed and public data providers. Suppression is applied before billing so contacts you already have, previously imported, or uploaded as do-not-contact are excluded from delivery.
Sharing and subprocessors
We share personal data only with vetted subprocessors that help us run the service — hosting, payment processing, email delivery, analytics, and customer support. We do not share Scout account data with third parties for their own marketing. A current subprocessor list is available on request from privacy@myspacescout.com.
Data retention
We retain account and usage data for as long as your Scout account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, tax, and operational requirements. You can request deletion of your account at any time.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Send any request to privacy@myspacescout.com and we'll respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Cookies and analytics
We use a small set of first-party cookies to keep you signed in and to remember preferences, plus privacy-conscious analytics to understand product usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices to protect Scout data. No online service can promise perfect security, and this page does not certify a specific compliance framework. Report a security concern to security@myspacescout.com.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page when our practices change and revise the 'last updated' date at the top. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email.
